For the past three years FUSION has run a weekend away to the Quinta Christian Centre near Oswestry.

Quinta 2017

We had a fantastic time at Quinta between 21st – 23rd April 2017. Over thirty members of FUSION took part in the weekend, along with 18 children from Ground Breakers (Years 4 – 6).

This year we focused on the life of David and discovered that he was a ‘man after God’s own heart.’ To investigate this topic we looked at four key areas of his life: when God chose him to be King, his victory over Goliath, his sin with Bathsheba and the Psalms that he wrote throughout his life. As well as our bible study sessions we also had lots of fun with loads of activities including making musical instruments, swimming and a trip to Oswestry.

You can find out more on Quinta blog posts on our FUSION home page.

We are already excited for next year and will be releasing more details about Quinta 2018 in the Autumn, stayed tuned for more updates!

In 2016 the Quinta theme was Transformation and we focused on means to be a new creation in Christ.

UPDATE 24th APRIL 2017:

Quinta is now over for another year!

We hope everyone had a fantastic time. Have a look at our blog for more details of what we got up to during the weekend, or come along to our All Age Celebration Service on Sunday 7th May for the premiere of the Quinta 2017 Movie as well as the inaugural Quinta Awards Ceremony.

We would love to see loads of people there, 10:15am at St. John’s Church, Dukinfield.

Our Quinta weekend is about to begin and we hope everyone is ready. If you want to keep up to date with what we are doing while we’re away we will be trying to blog as often as possible as well as using our @stjohnsfusion Instagram and the St. John’s Church Facebook page.

For any last minute issues, contact Hannah and Ben

Places for Quinta 2017 are now full.

Any permission slips and deposits returned from now will be put on a waiting list.

By now everyone should have received a second letter with details of outstanding  payment and a medical form. These need to be completed and returned by Sunday 19th March. Without this information we will not be able to take your children away with us and so they may be removed from the trip.

There will be a parent’s information meeting after the 10:15am service on Sunday 19th March. This will be an opportunity to find out the finer details of what we will be up to, including arrival and pick up times, meet our team and ask any questions you may have.

If, for whatever reason, you can’t make this meeting, please speak to Ben and Hannah as soon as possible to make alternative arrangements to receive this information.

If you have paid a deposit for Quinta, your place is secure! We will be sending you a letter in the next couple of weeks with more information about the plans for the weekend and up to date information about outstanding payments.
